Siinqee Bank has announced strong and outstanding performance across key financial and operational indicators during the 2025/26 financial year. The Bank reviewed its annual performance and strategic direction at a management performance appraisal meeting held in August 2026 at the Addis Ababa Skylight Hotel, bringing together the Bank’s Executive Management, more than 800 branch managers and district directors.
Speaking at the performance appraisal meeting, Siinqee Bank President Mr. Neway Megersa said the Bank’s achievements during the financial year demonstrated significant progress and would further strengthen its growth and transformation journey. He emphasized that the Bank continued to make a meaningful contribution to financial inclusion by expanding access to finance and providing substantial financing to customers and the wider economy.
During the financial year, Siinqee Bank recorded strong growth in its major financial indicators. Customer deposits reached ETB 178.1 billion, while total assets increased to ETB 216.2 billion and total capital reached ETB 23.1 billion. The Bank also generated ETB 10.7 billion in before-provision gross profit, reflecting its strong financial performance and continued operational growth.
The annual performance appraisal provided a platform to review the Bank’s detailed results, identify areas for improvement, and assess priorities for the year ahead. It also recognized the contribution of high-performing branches, districts, and leaders through awards and certificates of recognition for outstanding performance and leadership excellence.
Building on the achievements of the 2025/26 financial year, Siinqee Bank has designated the 2026/27 financial year as the “Year of Acceleration.” The Bank will focus on accelerating growth, strengthening operational excellence, enhancing customer experience, expanding financial inclusion, and advancing its transformation agenda.
